Background: The Silky Terrier is a quick mover and thinker. He is well suited for apartment living. Obedience training as a puppy will help him remember the rules of the house. He tolerates children, but does not enjoy being constrained by toddlers. The Silky's near-human hair does not shed much. His coat should be brushed daily to keep it free of tangles. Scissoring is required every couple of months.
