General Appearance: The Bull Terrier has a strong head and full face, a broad chest and well rounded body. They are compact and possess an enormous amount of strength. Their coat is short and flat.

Size, Proportion, and Substance: Traditionally the breed standards do not indicate size requirements for the Bull Terrier but the breed generally stands about 22 inches at the withers and weighs 57 pounds on the average.
